UPSC CENTRAL ARMED POLICE FORCES ASSISTANT COMMANDANT (CAPF-AC) EXAM

CAPF is a competitive examination administered by the Union Public Service Commission to hire candidates for the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF). The CAPF (AC) exam offers the opportunity to enter the Paramilitary Forces in India directly at the Assistant Commander (AC) level. The CAPF exam is held each year to recruit candidates for such a position in the Central Armed Police Force (CAPF). Ministry of Home Affairs is the cadre controlling authority for the CAPF. Ministry of Home nominates the nodal authority for the physical and medical standard test (PST). The following forces recruit the candidates through this exam.

UPSC CAPF AC EXAM APPLICATION PROCESS

The application process is online, Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria can fill out the application form. The application process involves several steps, such as registering, completing the application form, uploading the required documents, paying the fee, and final submission. Candidates only need to fill out the application form with correct details, otherwise, you are responsible for rejection.

STEPS TO FILL UPSC CAPF AC EXAM ONLINE APPLICATION FORM

Below are the steps that the students need to follow when completing the application form for CAPF:  

1. Registration: The first step was to register for the CAPF by visiting the official website of the exam, which is upsconline.nic.in. After this, they needed to click on the 'New Registration' tab and read the instructions carefully before proceeding. Click on the "Click Here for Part-I" link given under Part-I registration tab. After successful registration, candidates were provided the registration number and password. 

2. Filling up the CAPF application form: The next step is to fill CAPF application form. Candidates need to fill their personal, academic, and contact details in the application form and note down system-generated application numbers. They also have to create a password that will be used for future logins. 

Basic details: Here, candidates need to fill in the category, nationality, personal details, select exam centres, date of birth, gender, father's name or mother's name, address, etc. 

Educational qualification, work experience & languages: Here, candidates need to enter details of their graduation such as year of passing, college, percentage of marks, grade (if any). They are also required to enter their work experience. Candidates are also required to enter the languages they can read, write and speak.

3. Upload of Prescribed Documents & Images (Photographs and Scanned Signatures): upload photographs, signatures. After filling CAPF application form, candidates will be asked to upload the scanned copies of their recent passport size photograph and specimen signature as per the given specifications.

4. Choose your Test City Pay the Examination Fee: While applying, candidates have to select any three cities of their choice. The efforts will be made to allow the city of examination to the candidates in order of choice opted by them in their online Application Form. However, due to administrative/logistic reasons, a different city can be allotted. The candidates can pay the application fees in online mode only. For online payment, candidates can pay through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking /Paytm /UPI.

5. Print the Confirmation page: The last step is to take printouts of the confirmation page, after successful payment of application fees.

UPSC CAPF AC EXAM ADMIT CARD

CAPF EXAM  admit card will be released on the official website of upsc.gov.in Eligible candidates can download the CAPF admit card with their credentials such as application number and date of birth. No candidate will receive an Admit card by email, fax, etc. It includes details such as the candidate's name, test date, test time, and test center.

STEP 1- Visit the official website of UPSC
STEP 2- Click on the CAPF Result appearing in the "What's New" section on the right-hand side
STEP 3- A new page will appear showing the PDF link of the CAPF written result
