The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) registration has begun by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru. Candidates interested in applying must first register at the GATE official website. The deadline for registering is September 29, 2023, according to the dates announced. Candidates with late fees, on the other hand, have until October 13, 2023 to complete the form.
GATE will be held by IISc Bengaluru on February 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2024. The subject-specific dates have yet to be announced. Each day, the exam will be held in two shifts: 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Additionally, the GATE 2024 format has undergone major adjustments this year.

Key Changes In Gate 2024
Withdrawal of international centres: GATE 2024 will not be held in any of the international centres this time. Indians living in other countries must appear for the PG engineering entrance exam in India. According to the official notice, “GATE 2024 will be conducted only in centres within India. Foreign nationals and Indian citizens residing abroad may appear for GATE 2024 but they must choose examination cities within India. They must make their own arrangements for travel and accommodation to appear for the exam at an assigned centre within India.”
A new paper is being introduced: Data Science and Artificial Intelligence have been introduced to the GATE 2024 entrance exam this year. Probability and Statistics, Linear Algebra, Calculus and Optimisation, Programming, Data Structures and Algorithms, Database Management and Warehousing, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence are all covered in this paper's syllabus.
Application fees for GATE: The application fee for the exam has been raised for all candidates in all categories by IISc this year. In compared to the previous year, the fee for female candidates has been increased by Rs 100, while the charge for SC/STPwD candidates has been increased by Rs 100.

Go to the official website.
Now click on the - Apply online link, available on the homepage.
Then register by using your mobile number, name and email ID.
Now log in using your credentials and complete the application for GATE by filling in personal details and uploading the documents.
Finally, to submit the form, pay the application fee by using net banking/debit card/credit card.
