Description
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will announce the NEET PG Counselling round 3 seat allotment results on September 16, 2023. Seat allotment processing will be completed on September 15, 2023. Candidates who applied for the third round of allotment can verify the allotment outcome on the MCC's official website.
The NEET PG round 3 allotment result will be released in the form of a pdf file. Candidates must visit the MCC official website to download the allotment result pdf to view the NEET PG counselling round 3 seat allotment list. Candidates who have been assigned seats based on their preferences will be able to report to the institutions of their choice between September 18 and 25, 2023 to complete the admission process. Candidates are also required to upload all necessary documents on the MCC portal on September 17, 2023.
NEET PG 2023 Cutoffs
The Indian Medical Association has written to Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, requesting that the NEET PG qualifying cutoffs be lowered. The doctor's group stated that the health ministry has reduced the NEET PG cutoff during the previous three years in order to fill vacant seats. In a letter to the National Medical Commission (NMC), the United Doctors' Front Association (UDFA) stated that lowering the qualifying percentile criteria will not sufficient; rather, the qualifying cutoff must be decreased to fill the vacant seats.
According to sources, the health ministry cut the NEET PG qualifying percentile by 25% in 2022, following a suggestion by the NMC. The updated criteria set the threshold for the general category at 25%, while the cutoffs for the PwD and SC/ST/OBC categories were 20% and 15%. respectively.
