Description
The Indian Institute of Science (IISc Bangalore) will close the regular registration window for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) on October 5, 2023. Candidates can apply for GATE 2024 online on the official website without paying any late fees until on October 5. Those who miss the registration deadline can still apply for the GATE 2024 examination until October 13. However, a Rupees 500 late fee fine must be paid.
Fees Details
To register for GATE 2024, candidates from the reserved category and female candidates must pay Rupees 900, while those from all other categories must pay Rupees 1,800. They can pay their fees by credit card, debit card, net banking, EMI, wallet, or UPI.
According to IISc Bangalore, more than 1,37,000 applications were submitted this year by the original deadline of September 29, 2023. On that basis, administrators agreed to extend the registration deadline without a late charge until October 5, 2023.

Steps To Register For GATE 2024
First visit the official website.
Now, click on the direct link to register for the GATE 2024 available on the homepage.
Register using the necessary login details such as mobile number, name and email id.
Login with the newly created details and fill out the GATE 2024 application form.
Upload the documents.
Make the payment of the application fee.
Print the hardcopy of it for future reference.
