The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released a circular announcing a lowering in the qualifying percentile for a special round of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Super Speciality (NEET-SS) 2023 Counselling. According to the official announcement, NBEMS has dropped the NEET SS cut-off to zero. All students who appeared in the exam are eligible for the upcoming special round of counselling.

Eligible students can register for the NEET SS 2023 special round counselling on the Medical Counselling Committee's (MCC) official website. The NEET SS 2023 exam took place on September 29 and 30, 2023. The results were released on October 15, 2023.

NEET SS Counselling 2023 Qualifying Percentile

According to the official notification, students who have completed their post-graduation according to NMC standards and appeared in the NEET SS 2023 exam are eligible to participate in the NEET SS Counselling 2023 special round.

Originally, the NEET SS 2023 cut-off was 50 percentile, but it was dropped to 20 percentile. The NMC has also proposed lowering the NEET SS cut-off 2023 to zero, while NEET SS Counselling 2023 is now underway.

There is no change in NEET SS rank as of October 15, 2023. Students can stay up to date on the NEET SS Counselling 2023 by visiting the official website.

• NEET SS 2023 seat allotment document 

• NEET SS 2023 admit card

• NEET SS 2023 2023 result

• MBBS degree certificate

• MD/MS/DNB degree certificate in the concerned specialty

• Certificate of permanent/provisional registration issued by the NMC/NBE/SMC

• Birth certificate or Class 10 pass certificate

• Identification documents such as Aadhar card, PAN card, driver’s license or passport
