The National Institute of Design released the Design Aptitude Test (DAT), preliminary results for the Master of Design (MDes) program on February 16, 2024. Candidates who appeared in the exam on December 24, 2023, can view the results on the official website.

They must enter their email address and date of birth to view the NID DAT result 2024. According to the information bulletin, separate merit lists will be prepared for each category for which the candidate has applied (GENERAL, GENERAL-EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PWD, and OVERSEAS) based on the DAT Prelims scores and merit.

NO Separate Scorecards Will Be Issued

Candidates should be aware that separate result scorecards (digital or hard copy) will not be issued for the NID DAT result 2024. Furthermore, the scores obtained in NID's DAT exam cannot be used by any individual or institution without the National Institute of Design's prior permission.

Yes, candidates who are dissatisfied with their scores can request a recheck of the answer sheet through the official website.

The NID DAT preliminary results 2024 rechecking will be limited to- 

• Whether all answers have been marked.

• Whether there was an error in totaling the marks for each question in Part II of the answer booklet and accurately transferring the marks to the first cover page of the answer booklet.
