Description
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has added two new courses to the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG: Fashion Studies and Tourism. In an official statement, the NTA stated that subjects were included in accordance with UGC and CBSE directions to promote skill subjects in the genuine spirit of NEP guidelines.
The NTA further announced that candidates who have already submitted their online application form for CUET (UG) 2024 may add these subjects during the correction period. However, candidates must pay an extra fee for selecting additional subjects (where applicable). It further stated that the list of participating universities and their offered courses is dynamic.
Notably, registrations for CUET UG 2024 began on February 27 and will close on March 26 at 11:50 pm. The correction window will open on March 28, allowing candidates to select new subjects. For additional information, candidates should visit the NTA official website.
