The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) shared the NEET PG 2024 exam city allotment details with candidates on July 31 night. The NBEMS had previously said that test city information would be communicated by email, however participants have reported receiving it via SMS. Those who have yet to receive the NEET PG examination city allotment information should check their SMS inbox at the phone number registered with the board.
NEET PG test city allotment details will not be displayed on the NBEMS official website. On July 31The NBEMS has simply provided the name of the city where the candidates' exam centers would be located. The detailed address of the examination centers will be included on the admit cards.
The NEET PG 2024 admit card will be announced on August 8. The postgraduate medical entrance examination will take place on July 11 at test centers throughout the country. NEET PG was originally set for June 23, but the Health Ministry moved the exam to August.
NBEMS released a list of 185 cities in which the redesigned exam will be administered. It invited candidates to indicate four desired exam cities.
On July 31The test city was chosen randomly from all four choices provided by the candidates.
The NBEMS previously said that if there are less than four tests available in a state or UT, or if the number of candidates in the state/UT exceeds the number of seats available, candidates will be requested to pick between test cities in neighboring states or UT.
NBEMS stated that overcapacity, logistical challenges, and administrative or security reasons may prevent candidates from receiving their selected test centre, and that such candidates will be assigned to the nearest available location.
Those who did not indicate test centre preferences were assigned test centers in any of the 185 cities.
