Description
The highly anticipated GATE 2025 registration procedure will begin on August 28, 2024. Registrations were originally scheduled to open on August 24, 2024, but were postponed until August 28. Candidates planning to appear for the GATE 2025 exam can register via the link provided on the official website.
Before registering for the GATE exam, students should carefully review the eligibility requirements and application instructions. Candidates whose applications do not meet the prescribed eligibility criteria will not be considered for the entrance exam.
GATE 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Before submitting the GATE 2025 application, candidates should check that they meet the eligibility requirements.
Candidates who are currently in their third or higher year of an undergraduate degree program or who have completed any government-approved degree program in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, Commerce, Arts, or Humanities are eligible to appear for GATE 2025.
Candidates who hold certification from any professional society that conducts examinations in various fields of engineering must ensure that those examinations are accepted by the Ministry of Education/AICTE/UGC/UPSC as equal to B.E./B.Tech./B.Arch./B.Planning, etc.
Candidates who have received or are pursuing their qualifying degree from countries other than India: Must be in their third or higher year or have finished a Bachelor's degree (of at least three years duration) in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, Commerce, Arts, or Humanities.

Personal information (name, date of birth, personal mobile number, parents’ name, parents’ mobile number, etc.)
Address for communication (including PIN code)
Eligibility degree details
GATE paper(s) and their codes in which the candidate wishes to appear
THREE choices of GATE examination cities (from the same zone)
Net-banking /debit card / credit card / UPI details for fee payment
Documents Required To Filling GATE 2025 Applications
High quality image of candidate’s photograph conforming to the requirements specified in the Information Brochure.
High quality image of candidate’s signature conforming to the requirements specified in the Information Brochure.
Scanned copy of Category (SC/ST) certificate in pdf format (if applicable).
Scanned copy of PwD Certificate in pdf format (if applicable).
Scanned copy of Certificate of Dyslexia in pdf format (if applicable).
Scanned copy of valid photo Identity document: Aadhar-UID (preferable)/ Passport/ PAN Card/ Voter ID/ Driving License.
The photo ID must have the Name and date of birth of the candidate and unique photo ID number. This photo ID must be carried in original to the examination hall for verification.
