Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee is closing the GATE 2025 online application window on september 26, 2024. Candidates who have not yet registered for the entrance tests may do so without giving late fee till 26 September.

GATE examinations are set to be held in February 2025. According to the timetable, students can submit their applications without a late fee until 26 september 2026, while the extended application window with a late fee will be open until October 7, 2024. The registration or application link for GATE 2025 is accessible on the official website.

Eligibility Criteria For GATE 2025

  • Candidates in the third or higher years of any undergraduate degree program, or who have finished any of their degree programmes in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, Commerce, Arts, or Humanities, are eligible to take the GATE 2025 exam.

  • Candidates with certification from professional societies that conduct examinations in various disciplines of engineering must ensure that the examinations are accepted by the Ministry of Education/AICTE/UGC/UPSC as equal to B.E./B.Tech./B.Arch./B.Planning, etc.

  • Candidates who have finished or are currently pursuing their qualifying degree from countries other than India: Must be in their third or higher year or have finished a Bachelor's degree (of at least three years duration) in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, Commerce, Arts, or Humanities.

Steps To Register For GATE 2025

  • First, visit the official website of GATE 2025.

  • Now, click on ‘Apply Online’ and navigate to ‘Register Here’ section.

  • Enter all required details in the registration link provided.

  • Fill out the online application form.

  • Upload necessary documents.

  • Submit the registration fee as per the category.

  • Save the application form and click on submit.

  • Scanned copy of PwD Certificate in pdf format
  • Scanned copy of Certificate of Dyslexia in pdf format
