The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the final result for the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination (SSC CHSL 2024) on its official website. A total of 3,421 candidates have been provisionally recommended for appointment. However, their final selection is contingent upon successful document verification, which will be carried out by the respective user departments.
The SSC CHSL Tier 1 exam took place from July 1 to 11, 2024, and the results were declared on September 6, 2024. Based on their performance in Tier 1, 39,835 unique candidates were shortlisted for the Tier 2 exam.
The SSC CHSL Tier 2 exam was held on November 18, 2024, and the option-cum-preference form for candidates was released on February 4, 2025. The commission has stated that 27,092 candidates who submitted their preferences online were considered for further selection in the process.

The allocated departments will handle the document verification and appointment procedures. If a candidate does not receive any communication from the designated department within a few months after the final result is declared, they are advised to contact the department for further clarification.
The commission will not maintain a reserve or waiting list. In case any vacancies remain unfilled due to candidates not joining, those positions will be carried forward to the next year(s). Additionally, the commission has stated that the detailed marks of both shortlisted and non-shortlisted candidates, as well as the final answer keys, will be uploaded on the official website.
