Description

India Post has published the India Post GDS January Merit List 2025 on March 21, 2025. The merit list includes shortlisted candidates from 22 states. Individuals who applied for the Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) positions can view the list on the official India Post website.

States Included In Merit List

The list has been released for the following states:

Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, North East, Odisha, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and West Bengal.

Selection Process

Candidates have been shortlisted based on a system-generated merit list derived from their Class 10 board exam marks. However, final selection will be confirmed only after physical verification of original documents by the respective Divisional or Unit Head for the notified vacancies.

Document Verification Deadline

According to the official notification, shortlisted candidates must complete their document verification process with the designated Divisional Head by April 7, 2025. Candidates should bring their original documents along with two sets of self-attested photocopies for verification.
