The Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) has released the International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO) Level 1 results for the 2025–26 academic session. Students who appeared for the examination can now view their results online through the official SOF website.

The SOF IMO is an annual competitive examination conducted for students from Classes 1 to 12, designed to assess mathematical aptitude, logical thinking, and problem-solving abilities from an early stage. For the 2025–26 session, the Level 1 examination was conducted on November 12, November 28, and December 12, 2025, giving participating schools the flexibility to select a convenient exam date.

Steps to Check SOF IMO Result 2025–26

Students can follow the steps below to access and download their IMO Level 1 result:

• First visit the official website.

• Now click on the “Results” section on the homepage.

• Select International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO) 2025–26.

• Enter the required information such as roll number, class, and school code.

• Submit the details to view the result.

• Download or save the result for future reference.

The result includes details such as marks obtained, school-level rank, zonal rank, and international rank, wherever applicable.

What’s Next After the Level 1 Result?

As per SOF norms, students from Classes 3 to 12 who secure a position within the top 5 percent of their respective class at Level 1 will qualify for the Level 2 IMO. Students from Classes 1 and 2 are not eligible for the Level 2 examination.

Schools will receive official notifications regarding the list of qualified students and details of the next examination stage. Students are advised to remain in contact with their school authorities for updates related to Level 2 participation.

The Science Olympiad Foundation offers awards and recognitions at international, zonal, and school levels. Students achieving top international ranks are honoured with cash prizes, medals, and certificates. Zonal and school-level achievers also receive medals and certificates. In addition, teachers and school principals are acknowledged for their contribution to student success.
