The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has updated the timeline for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2026. As per the latest information available on the official application portal, the UGCET 2026 registration process began on January 17, 2026.

Eligible students can submit their KCET 2026 application forms online by visiting the official website at cetonline KEA has extended the last date for application submission to February 17, 2026, providing candidates additional time to complete the registration process.

In addition to extending the registration deadline, KEA has also withdrawn the previously announced examination dates from its website. Aspirants are advised to keep monitoring official updates, as the revised exam schedule, admit card release date, and result announcement timeline will be notified shortly.

What’s New in KCET 2026 Registration?

As per the recent notification issued by KEA:

  • The KCET 2026 application window opened on January 17, 2026

  • The final date to apply is now February 17, 2026

  • Earlier announced exam-related dates have been removed

  • Fresh dates for the exam, admit card, and result will be released soon

Earlier, the KCET 2026 examination was tentatively scheduled for May 25 and 26, with admit cards expected on May 1 and results on June 30. These dates are no longer applicable.

  • Karnataka candidates (GM, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B): Rs 500

  • Karnataka candidates (SC, ST, Category 1): Rs 250

  • Candidates educated outside Karnataka: Rs 750

  • Overseas applicants: Rs 5,000
