The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have made available the application status for the Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) Graduate Level recruitment under CEN 06/2025 on the official application portal. Candidates who submitted their forms can now check whether their applications have been accepted or rejected.

Application status overview

The recruitment process aims to fill 5,810 Graduate-level vacancies across various NTPC posts. After scrutiny, applications have been categorized into three types:

• Provisionally accepted

• Conditionally accepted, subject to specified requirements

• Rejected, along with detailed reasons

Applicants can view their status by logging in with their registered credentials on official website.

SMS and email alerts

In addition to the online status update, RRBs are also sending SMS and email notifications to candidates on the mobile numbers and email IDs provided during registration.

Vacancy distribution

Category-wise vacancy allocation includes:

• General: 2,321

• EWS: 602

• OBC: 1,508

• SC: 922

• ST: 457

Post-wise vacancies are distributed as follows:

• Chief Commercial-cum-Ticket Supervisor: 161

• Station Master: 615

• Goods Train Manager: 3,416

• Junior Accounts Assistant-cum-Typist: 921

• Senior Clerk-cum-Typist: 628

• Traffic Assistant: 59

Important dates

The online application process began on October 21, 2025, and concluded on November 27, 2025, after an extension. Candidates were allowed to make corrections to their submitted forms between November 30 and December 9, 2025.

The application status was released on January 20, 2026. Examination dates will be announced separately by the Boards.

RRBs have clarified that all accepted applications remain provisional and may be cancelled at any stage if incorrect information, discrepancies, or unfair practices are detected.
