The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the NIFTEE 2026 Stage 1 application correction window today, January 22, at 11:50 PM. Registered candidates still have time to make changes to their application forms before the deadline. The correction facility was opened on January 21, 2026, after being rescheduled to give applicants additional time to review and update their details.

Once the correction window closes, no further modifications will be accepted.

About NIFTEE

NIFTEE is the entrance examination conducted by the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) for admission into various undergraduate and postgraduate programs in design, fashion, and management. Even a small mistake in the application can impact the entire admission process, from the issuance of the admit card to final seat allocation.

What Details Can Be Edited?

NTA has allowed candidates to change only certain sections of the application form. The editable fields include:

• Candidate’s name or parent’s name (limited to one change)

• Date of birth and gender

• Category, sub-category, or PwBD status

• Academic details (Class 10, Class 12, graduation, post-graduation)

• Exam city preferences

• Programme selection (where applicable)

However, the following fields cannot be edited:

• Mobile number

• Email ID

• Permanent or current address

• Uploaded signature

Candidates must also pay any additional fee immediately if the changes lead to a fee difference due to category or program modifications.

How to Correct NIFTEE Application 2026

Follow these steps to make corrections:

• First visit the NIFTEE official portal.

• Click on the application correction link.

• Log in using your application number and password.

• Edit only the allowed fields.

• Check all entries carefully.

• Submit the updated form and download the revised confirmation page.
