The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the registration process for the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) 2026. This exam is conducted for admission to the four-year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) for the academic session 2026-27. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official NTA website at nta.ac.in.

About NCET 2026

NCET 2026 offers admission to the four-year Integrated Teacher Education Programme, available at selected central and state universities, including Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Regional Institutes of Education (RIEs), and other government colleges.

The programme is a dual major course, with the first major in Education and the second major in a school-specific subject.

NCET 2026 Registration Dates

• Online application submission: February 12, 2026 – March 10, 2026 (up to 11:50 pm)

• Last date for fee payment: March 11, 2026 (up to 11:50 pm) via Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI

• Application correction window: March 12 – March 14, 2026

• Announcement of exam city & admit card download: To be notified on the website

• Exam date: April 17, 2026 (Friday)

• Display of recorded responses, answer keys, and result declaration: To be announced later

• Languages: 13 languages

• Duration: 3 hours
