Examination for INI CET shall be held as a Computer-based Test of a total of 200 questions and 200 marks. The total time allotted for the exam shall be 180 minutes.

Candidates willing to apply for INI CET Examination are required to fulfill certain conditions to be eligible for it. The candidate who does not satisfy the Eligibility criteria like Age, Minimum educational qualification, etc., their candidature shall be rejected by the authorities.
The criteria for eligibility INI CET are decided by the conduction body itself.
The candidate’s eligibility for INI CET Examination is based on the fulfillment of the following conditions :-
1. Nationality
2. Age Limit
3. Educational Qualifications & Minimum Marks
INI CET NATIONALITY
The candidate must be either of the following :-
1. Indian National
2. Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)
3. Foreign National
INI CET AGE LIMIT
AIIMS has not prescribed any maximum age limit for the candidates applying for INI CET Examination.
INI CET EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION & MINIMUM MARKS
For Indian National and OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) & Sponsored Candidates
Educational Qualification :-
A candidate must possess MBBS degree for MD/MS/DM-6yrs/MCH-6yrs and BDS degree for MDS courses of a University recognized by the National Medical Commission/Medical Council of India as notified by Govt. of India and Dental Council of India respectively and must have completed the required period of 12 months compulsory rotating Internship/Practical training.
Minimum Marks:-
The Indian National who has obtained an eligibility degree in India must have obtained a minimum of the following marks (aggregate of all professional MBBS/BDS professional examinations):
a) For candidates belonging to the SC/ST Categories 50% marks in aggregate
b) For all other categories including OBC/EWS Category 55% marks in aggregate
c) For Persons with Benchmark Disabilities [PWBD] candidates the minimum aggregate as provided in (a) and (b) will be applicable for the category to which the candidate belongs shall apply.
Note:- For Sponsored candidates, It is mandatory to upload a valid Sponsored certificates in the Completion of Application on or before closing dates. Candidates must have to submit an original sponsored certificate at the time of admission, failing which, their candidature will be canceled.
For Indian National graduated from Foreign Universities
Educational Qualification:-
For Indian National candidates who have graduated from foreign Universities, marks obtained in the FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduate Examination) conducted by the National Board of Examination (NBE), shall be considered in lieu of aggregate marks.
Minimum Marks:-
The Indian National who has obtained an eligibility degree in India must have obtained a minimum of the following marks (aggregate of all professional MBBS/BDS professional examinations):
a) For candidates belonging to the SC/ST Categories 50% marks in aggregate
b) For all other categories including OBC/EWS Category 55% marks in aggregate
c) For Persons with Benchmark Disabilities [PWBD] candidates the minimum aggregate as provided in (a) and (b) will be applicable for the category to which the candidate belongs shall apply.
For Foreign National candidates
Educational Qualification:-
Candidates are required to obtain a certificate of grading system from applicable Universities/Institutions to determine the value of grading in percentage. The marks calculated accordingly must be filled in the “Marks Column”
Minimum Marks:-
The eligibility of Foreign National applicants with respect to the minimum marks in aggregate in all the MBBS/BDS professional examinations will be 55% aggregate or equivalent.
Note :- The NOC obtained from Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India, should be submitted to the Examination Section on or before dates as mentioned in Important Dates Tab. Kindly note that no objection certificate obtained solely from the Ministry of External Affairs is NOT considered a valid NOC for INI-CET.
INI CET ELIGIBILITY HIGHLIGHTS
1. The examination is open for candidates with any nationality that is foreign nationals, Indian nationals as well as OCI or NRI Nationals.
2. No maximum age limit is prescribed for candidates for this examination.
3. Candidates must have the undergraduate program degree corresponding to the program of their choice.
4. Candidates must qualify the minimum mark's requirement as prescribed.

The examination was scheduled to be held on 8th May 2021 but due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the competent authority of AIIMS decided to reschedule the conduction of INI- CET for admission to PG courses for July 2021. The Exam has been rescheduled to 16th June 2021.

1. New User Registration: Go to aiimsexams.org then Click on ‘Academic courses and Select ‘MD/ MS/ MCh (6years)/ DM (6years)/ MDS’ then Click on ‘Proceed’.The basic Registration form will open on the screen
2. Applicant Login: This User ID and Password so created will allow the candidate to log in as an applicant for Inicet and register an online application. The “Go To Application” link will allow the candidate to continue with the application submission immediately after user creation.
3. Filling up the Inicet application form: After completing the registration process. candidates have to click on 'Complete Application Form'.It is mandatory to fill remaining details in the application form of Inicet.
4. Upload of Prescribed Documents & Images (Photograph, Scanned Signatures, and Thumb Impression): Upload scanned passport size colored photograph, scanned signature, and thumb impression with the prescribed format
5. Choose your Test City and pay the Examination Fee: The test city can be selected from available choices on a first come first serve basis. While the city will be chosen by the candidate himself/herself at the time of online submission of the application form, allotment of test center/venue in the chosen city shall be done.

INI CET EXAM RESULT
The result will be uploaded in PDF format. Candidates will have to download INI CET result from the official website of AIIMS, aiimsexams.ac.in. INI CET result mentions candidates' roll number, category, percentile, and rank. AIIMS will release a merit list on the basis of the result, mentioning the name of candidates who will be provisionally eligible for the INI CET counselling round. Candidate can check their results by following the steps listed below:

STEP 3- Log in with the registration ID and password
STEP 4- Click on the link INI CET Result

INI CET EXAM COUNSELLING PROCESS

INI CET Examination 2023
INI CET 2023 exam was conducted on May 7. AIIMS Delhi will release counseling dates for INI CET July session on its official website. The counselling for INI CET seat allotment will be held online. Candidates will have to register online to participate in the counselling process.
Indian Institute of National importance Combines Entrance Test (INI CET) is a nationally integrated standard of PG medical entry test presented to students seeking a PG medical certificate from India. From 2021, all 6-year PG medical programs of various medical/dental institutions (AIIMS, JIPMER, PGIMER, NIMHANS) have been replaced by INI CET testing. The Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI CET) is currently organized by AIIMS, New Delhi for PG medical students (six years) - MS, MD, M.Ch (6 years), DM (6) years) and MDS. INI CET 2023: Who can apply
Educational Qualification
For Indian National and OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) & Sponsored Candidates
Educational Qualification :-
A candidate must possess MBBS degree for MD/MS/DM-6yrs/MCH-6yrs and BDS degree for MDS courses of a University recognized by the National Medical Commission/Medical Council of India as notified by Govt. of India and Dental Council of India respectively and must have completed the required period of 12 months compulsory rotating Internship/Practical training.
Minimum Marks:-
The Indian National who has obtained an eligibility degree in India must have obtained a minimum of the following marks (aggregate of all professional MBBS/BDS professional examinations):
a) For candidates belonging to the SC/ST Categories 50% marks in aggregate
b) For all other categories including OBC/EWS Category 55% marks in aggregate
c) For Persons with Benchmark Disabilities [PWBD] candidates the minimum aggregate as provided in (a) and (b) will be applicable for the category to which the candidate belongs shall apply.
Note:- For Sponsored candidates, It is mandatory to upload a valid Sponsored certificates in the Completion of Application on or before closing dates. Candidates must have to submit an original sponsored certificate at the time of admission, failing which, their candidature will be canceled.
For Indian National graduated from Foreign Universities
Educational Qualification:-
For Indian National candidates who have graduated from foreign Universities, marks obtained in the FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduate Examination) conducted by the National Board of Examination (NBE), shall be considered in lieu of aggregate marks.
Minimum Marks:-
The Indian National who has obtained an eligibility degree in India must have obtained a minimum of the following marks (aggregate of all professional MBBS/BDS professional examinations):
a) For candidates belonging to the SC/ST Categories 50% marks in aggregate
b) For all other categories including OBC/EWS Category 55% marks in aggregate
c) For Persons with Benchmark Disabilities [PWBD] candidates the minimum aggregate as provided in (a) and (b) will be applicable for the category to which the candidate belongs shall apply.
For Foreign National candidates
Educational Qualification:-
Candidates are required to obtain a certificate of grading system from applicable Universities/Institutions to determine the value of grading in percentage. The marks calculated accordingly must be filled in the “Marks Column”
Minimum Marks:-
The eligibility of Foreign National applicants with respect to the minimum marks in aggregate in all the MBBS/BDS professional examinations will be 55% aggregate or equivalent.
Note :- The NOC obtained from Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India, should be submitted to the Examination Section on or before dates as mentioned in Important Dates Tab. Kindly note that no objection certificate obtained solely from the Ministry of External Affairs is NOT considered a valid NOC for INI-CET.
Nationality/Citizenship

1. New User Registration: Go to aiimsexams.org then Click on ‘Academic courses and Select ‘MD/ MS/ MCh (6years)/ DM (6years)/ MDS’ then Click on ‘Proceed’.The basic Registration form will open on the screen
2. Applicant Login: This User ID and Password so created will allow the candidate to log in as an applicant for Inicet and register an online application. The “Go To Application” link will allow the candidate to continue with the application submission immediately after user creation.
3. Filling up the Inicet application form: After completing the registration process. candidates have to click on 'Complete Application Form'.It is mandatory to fill remaining details in the application form of Inicet.
4. Upload of Prescribed Documents & Images (Photograph, Scanned Signatures, and Thumb Impression): Upload scanned passport size colored photograph, scanned signature, and thumb impression with the prescribed format
5. Choose your Test City and pay the Examination Fee: The test city can be selected from available choices on a first come first serve basis. While the city will be chosen by the candidate himself/herself at the time of online submission of the application form, allotment of test center/venue in the chosen city shall be done.
6. Print the Confirmation page: The last step is to take printouts of the confirmation page, after successful payment of application fees.

INI CET 2023: Scheme of Exam
Examination for INI CET shall be held as a Computer-based Test of a total of 200 questions and 200 marks. The total time allotted for the exam shall be 180 minutes.

INICET 2023: Admission to the Examination Centres
1. The Examination Centre will be opened two hours before the commencement of the test. Therefore, candidates must ensure that they leave home well in advance considering all facts like traffic, location of the Centre, weather conditions, etc. Candidates are expected to take their seats immediately after the opening of the Examination Hall.
2. The candidate must show, on-demand, the Admit Card for admission in the Examination Hall. A candidate who does not possess a valid Admit Card shall not be allowed to enter the Examination Hall by the Centre Superintendent.
3. A seat with a roll number will be allotted to each candidate. Candidates must find out and occupy their allotted seats. If a candidate is found appearing in the Examination from a seat or room other than the allotted one, the candidature shall be cancelled.
4. During the examination time, the Invigilator will check Admit Card of the candidates to ascertain the identity of each candidate. The Invigilators will also put their own signature in the place provided in the Answer Sheet and on the Attendance Sheet.
5. A candidate who comes late shall not be permitted to enter the Examination Centre under any circumstances.
