INI CET EXAM PATTERN

Examination for INI CET shall be held as a Computer-based Test of a total of 200 questions and 200 marks. The total time allotted for the exam shall be 180 minutes.

Note :- Questions will be based on Graduate level of concerned PG program.

INI CET MODE OF EXAMINATION

The Examination for INI CET will be conducted as a Computer-based Test. The questions will contain both single correct choice and multiple correct choice type questions.

INI CET MEDIUM OF EXAMINATION

Questions shall be available in English only in INICET Examination.

INI CET MARKING SCHEME

For both Single Correct Choice & Multiple Correct Choice questions

1. For each correct answer, one mark will be awarded.
2. Negative marking of one-third marks shall be applicable for every wrong answer.
3. No marks will be deducted for questions left answered.

Minumum Percentile Cut-off

1. For Unreserved (UR) seats including Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), EWS and Sponsored/Deputed/Foreign Nationals will be 50th percentile.
2. For OBC, SC, ST, PwBD, and Bhutanese Nationals (PGI-Chandigarh only) seats will be 45th percentile.

Resolution of Tie Cases

In cases where more than one candidate secures equal MARKS, tie will be resolved by applying the following criteria sequentially,

1. less negative marks
2. Older by age.

Candidates willing to apply for INI CET Examination are required to fulfill certain conditions to be eligible for it. The candidate who does not satisfy the Eligibility criteria like Age, Minimum educational qualification, etc., their candidature shall be rejected by the authorities. 
The criteria for eligibility INI CET are decided by the conduction body itself.

AIIMS has not prescribed any maximum age limit for the candidates applying for INI CET Examination.

INI CET EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION & MINIMUM MARKS

For Indian National and OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) & Sponsored Candidates

Educational Qualification :-

A candidate must possess MBBS degree for MD/MS/DM-6yrs/MCH-6yrs and BDS degree for MDS courses of a University recognized by the National Medical Commission/Medical Council of India as notified by Govt. of India and Dental Council of India respectively and must have completed the required period of 12 months compulsory rotating Internship/Practical training.

Minimum Marks:- 

The Indian National who has obtained an eligibility degree in India must have obtained a minimum of the following marks (aggregate of all professional MBBS/BDS professional examinations):

a) For candidates belonging to the SC/ST Categories 50% marks in aggregate

b) For all other categories including OBC/EWS Category 55% marks in aggregate

c) For Persons with Benchmark Disabilities [PWBD] candidates the minimum aggregate as provided in (a) and (b) will be applicable for the category to which the candidate belongs shall apply.

For Indian National graduated from Foreign Universities

Educational Qualification:-

For Indian National candidates who have graduated from foreign Universities, marks obtained in the FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduate Examination) conducted by the National Board of Examination (NBE), shall be considered in lieu of aggregate marks.

Minimum Marks:- 

The Indian National who has obtained an eligibility degree in India must have obtained a minimum of the following marks (aggregate of all professional MBBS/BDS professional examinations):

a) For candidates belonging to the SC/ST Categories 50% marks in aggregate

The eligibility of Foreign National applicants with respect to the minimum marks in aggregate in all the MBBS/BDS professional examinations will be 55% aggregate or equivalent.

Note :- The NOC obtained from Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India, should be submitted to the Examination Section on or before dates as mentioned in Important Dates Tab. Kindly note that no objection certificate obtained solely from the Ministry of External Affairs is NOT considered a valid NOC for INI-CET.

INI CET 2021 July session Exam Analysis

The exam analysis has been provided here based on students' reactions. Candidates must note that AIIMS doesn't release the official INI CET 2021 question paper and answer key.

Difficulty Level of the Exam

1. Majority of the candidates (79.4%) stated that the exam was moderate.
2. 11.8% of them found this year’s INI CET easy (and every aspirant secretly wishes to fall in this category).
3. Only 8.8% of the candidates stated that the exam was difficult.

INI CET 2020 Exam Analysis

Analysis has been done on the paper which has been recently successfully conducted for AIIMS-PG in June 2020.

Difficulty Level of the Exam

The overall difficulty level of the exam was Moderate to difficult level. The paper was not too easy but not too difficult like a proper AIIMS entrance exam is expected to be.

Type of questions

There were one-liner questions this time, however, the majority of the students said that the options were a bit confusing.

5. Very few image-based questions were there and no video questions.
6. Pharma was tough and the question paper was full of emergency medicine like the acute abdomen and intestinal obstruction. A lot of entomology from micro and community medicine was there.

3. Filling up the Inicet application form: After completing the registration process. candidates have to click on 'Complete Application Form'.It is mandatory to fill remaining details in the application form of Inicet.

4. Upload of Prescribed Documents & Images (Photograph, Scanned Signatures, and Thumb Impression): Upload scanned passport size colored photograph, scanned signature, and thumb impression with the prescribed format

5. Choose your Test City and pay the Examination Fee: The test city can be selected from available choices on a first come first serve basis. While the city will be chosen by the candidate himself/herself at the time of online submission of the application form, allotment of test center/venue in the chosen city shall be done.

6. Print the Confirmation page: The last step is to take printouts of the confirmation page, after successful payment of application fees.

INI CET EXAM ADMIT CARD

Eligible candidates can download the INI CET admit card with their credentials such as application number and  EUC code.The admit card will be uploaded on the official website of AIIMS for candidates who applied for the exam in the given timeframe and fulfill all the eligibility criteria No candidate will receive an Admit card by email, fax, etc. It includes details such as the candidate's name, test date, test time, and test center. INI CET EXAM RESULT

The result will be uploaded in PDF format. Candidates will have to download INI CET result from the official website of AIIMS, aiimsexams.ac.in. INI CET result mentions candidates' roll number, category, percentile, and rank. AIIMS will release a merit list on the basis of the result, mentioning the name of candidates who will be provisionally eligible for the INI CET counselling round. Candidate can check their results by following the steps listed below:
STEP 1-  Go to the official website, aiimsexams.org
STEP 2- Select “Results”.Click on “Academic courses”
STEP 3- Log in with the registration ID and password
STEP 4- Click on the link INI CET Result
STEP 5- Check the details such as roll number of the candidate, category, all India rank, percentile score, etc on the result and download it in a PDF format.
STEP 6- Take a printout of the same.

INI CET EXAM COUNSELLING PROCESS

INI CET Counselling will start a few after the declaration of the result. The Online Counselling will be conducted in four rounds beginning with a mock round, and then the first round, second round, and open round through online mode. Below are the details on the counselling process.
1. First of all, visit the official website i.e. aiimsexams.ac.in
2. Us your Login credentials i.e. Registration ID, Registration Unique Code (RUC), password, and captcha code to log in. 
3. Enter the following details( Personal, Academic, INI-CET exam, Internship, NMC/SMC registration, Contact, and other details ).
4. Verify all details carefully and click on submit
5. The registration number will be sent to the registered mobile number and email ID
