JIPMER MSc/MPH EXAM COUNSELLING PROCESS
JIMER Nursing counselling will be concluded in four rounds depending upon the availability of the seats. Details about the counselling rounds are mentioned below:
1- In the first counselling the JIPMER, Puducherry will invite as many as eight times the number of total seats available in each category, candidates will be called that is for each seat eight candidates will be invited for the counselling. In case, if any candidate does not choose any of the available seats, he/she can attend the next round of counselling
2- The second counselling will be subjected to the availability of seats. If any vacant seat is left after the first counselling, the conducting body will organize the second counselling round. Candidates who did not choose the respective seat will be eligible to attend the second round.
3- In continuation to the first and second counselling, if any seats are left vacant, the third counselling round will be organized. Again the third counselling will also be subjected to the availability of seats.
4- To fill all the available seats and finish the counselling process, the conducting body will organize open counselling to fill up all the vacant seats (if any). The open counselling round will be based on the merit rank of the participating candidates.

JIPMER MSc/MPH 2024: Scheme of Exam
The Entrance Examination is common to all and consists of 100 single best response type MCQs having four alternatives.

1. JIPMER MSc/MPH Examination will be held as an Online Computer Based Test. Questions will be Objective type Multiple choice in nature.

JIPMER MSc/MPH 2024: Admission to the Examination Centres
1. Reporting time at the exam venue: 07.00 AM. Entry to examination center closes at 08:15 AM. Entry will NOT be permitted beyond 08:15 AM under any circumstance. The exam venues will be in the perimeter of 25 to 30 km from the main city. The candidates are advised to visit the exam venue one day before the examination to familiarize with the location of the Exam centre.
2. Exam starts at 09:00 AM. Candidates will NOT be permitted to leave the exam hall before 10:30 AM (i.e. time of close of examination) except in case of acute health related issues.
3. Candidates should carry ONLY Admit card/Hall Ticket along with Valid Identity proof (in original) and photocopy (Xerox) of the same ID proof inside the hall. No other paper will be allowed inside the hall. Candidates will NOT be allowed to enter the examination centre without valid Admit card/Hall Ticket & Valid ID Proof.
4. Valid ID Proof: ID Proof other than those mentioned below will NOT be permitted /accepted under any circumstances.

5. The test will start exactly at the time mentioned in the Hall Ticket and an announcement to this effect will be made by the invigilator.
6. Cellular phones, calculators, watch, alarm clocks, digital watches with built-in-calculators / memory, earphones and other electronic gadgets etc. will not be permitted inside the hall. Candidates are solely responsible for the safe keeping of their belongings. Arrangements will NOT be made by the duty staff for safe keeping and returning the gadgets if brought by the candidates.
7. For those who are unable to appear on the scheduled date of examination for any reason, reexamination shall NOT be held by JIPMER under any circumstances.
8. JIPMER reserves the right to reschedule the date / time of the examination depending upon local conditions.

JIPMER MSc/MPH 2024: Counselling Process
JIMER Nursing counselling will be concluded in four rounds depending upon the availability of the seats. Details about the counselling rounds are mentioned below:
1- In the first counselling the JIPMER, Puducherry will invite as many as eight times the number of total seats available in each category, candidates will be called that is for each seat eight candidates will be invited for the counselling. In case, if any candidate does not choose any of the available seats, he/she can attend the next round of counselling
2- The second counselling will be subjected to the availability of seats. If any vacant seat is left after the first counselling, the conducting body will organize the second counselling round. Candidates who did not choose the respective seat will be eligible to attend the second round.
3- In continuation to the first and second counselling, if any seats are left vacant, the third counselling round will be organized. Again the third counselling will also be subjected to the availability of seats.
4- To fill all the available seats and finish the counselling process, the conducting body will organize open counselling to fill up all the vacant seats (if any). The open counselling round will be based on the merit rank of the participating candidates.
