Candidates willing to apply for NMIMS NPAT Examination are required to fulfil certain conditions to be eligible for it. The candidate who does not satisfy the Eligibility criteria like Age, Minimum educational qualification etc., their candidature shall be rejected by the authorities. The criteria for eligibility are decided by the conduction body itself. The candidate’s eligibility for Examination is based on the fulfilment of the following conditions:-

IMPORTANT POINT FOR CONSIDERATION
1. In case the mark sheet issued by the applicable Board / Institution is in percentile/s, the actual aggregate percentage of all the subjects appeared by the candidate will be taken into consideration.
2. For IB & Cambridge Candidate: Candidates called for admission on the basis of merit list & who do not have final mark sheet will be given “Provisional Admission” based on predicted scores. Fees will be accepted from such candidate but their admission will be confirmed on submission of final mark sheet before the commencement of the program if found eligible.
3. Those candidates who have passed or are appearing for 10+2 examination from a Board / University where Grade Point Average is given, such candidates must produce in writing Page 5 of 8 from the Board / University concerned, the equivalent percentage for the GPA/CGPA obtained.
4. Candidate whose final mark sheet is not available at the time of admission is required to upload internet copy of result or Digi locker copy of result, duly attested by Principal of the school / college, failing which candidate will not be admitted for the program.
5. Only single mark sheet with all compulsory subjects taken and passed will be considered, no compartmentalized mark sheet shall be considered.
6. Candidate will not be eligible if any subject is marked as ungraded/fail in the marksheet / gradesheet. For absent/ ungraded in any of the additional/non mandatory subject will be consider as eligible provided such candidate is declared as pass by respective board.

NPAT Exam analysis of 22nd April ( 12 PM-2 PM) is is given below:
1. NMIMS NPAT 2022 question paper had three sections.
2. The total time allotted to the candidates to answer all the questions was 100 minutes.
3. Questions in the Proficiency in English Language section were of moderate difficulty level.
4. Questions in the Reasoning Ability section were of difficulty level.
5. NPAT 2022 examination had section-wise limitations (like sectional timing but not with a fixed time frame) i.e. a student could attempt only one section at once and if one has moved to another section, he/she cannot come back to the previous section.
6. The number of choices of MCQs varied in a range of 3 to 5 choices. Overall, the difficulty level of the examination was moderate and manageable with good time management.
NPAT 2022 Exam Analysis Section-Wise
Proficiency in English Language Analysis
English section had questions from Reading Comprehension, Sentence Rearrangement, Fill-in-the-blanks, Error Correction, and other topics from Grammar and Vocabulary. There were 2-3 RC passages that were themed around current issues and general topics. The RC passages were short and followed by 3-5 questions each. The overall section was easy and quite manageable. NMIMS NPAT EXAM ANALYSIS 2021
NMIMS-NPAT 2021 exam was held on three days including June 27, July 2 and July 3. This year the NPAT exam was conducted as an online proctored mode from home. The pattern of the exam was in line with the previous year. The NPAT exam comprises three sections to gauge candidates on proficiency in the English language, reasoning & general intelligence, and quantitative & numerical ability. Candidates had to answer as many as 120 questions in the NPAT 2021 exam. The difficulty level of the NPAT 2021 question paper for the quantitative and numerical ability section was moderate to hard as few questions were time-consuming. The other two sections of the question paper i.e. proficiency in the English language and reasoning ability were easy to moderate. The expected NPAT 2021 cut off for the BBA course offered by NMIMS Mumbai is likely to follow the trends and remain between 69-71. Whereas, for NMIMS Bangalore, the expected cutoff would remain somewhere between 66 to 70.

The quantitative and numerical ability section is considered the most difficult section of the NPAT exam. Similar to the previous year’s trends, this section was on moderate to difficult lines. Out of the total questions in the section, statistics and trigonometry had maximum weightage with 5 questions from each topic. Major Highlights
1. NMIMS NPAT 2021 question paper had three sections.
2. NPAT had as many as 120 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) with four options out of which one was correct.
3. The duration of the exam was identical to the previous sessions. 100 minutes were given to answer questions from all three sections.
4. While there was no sectional time limit, candidates were still not allowed to navigate across sections.
5. Identical to previous sessions, questions in the proficiency in English language section and reasoning ability section were of easy to moderate difficulty level.

In this section, most of the questions are from topics like profit & loss, time & work, time, speed & distance, simple & compound interest. If you are fast with calculations, then you can easily attempt more questions and score well in the exam.

NMIMS NPAT Eligibility Criteria for B.Sc. Economics
1. Candidates must have secured a minimum of 60% in class 12 examination or equivalent in the first attempt from any recognized board including International Baccalaureate Diploma in any stream.
2. Candidates who hold IB certificate / & D.P. are ineligible for NMIMS NPAT.
3. Aspirants must have passed Mathematics / Statistics subject in class 12 examination or equivalent to be eligible for NMIMS NPAT.
4. In the case of IB candidates, they must have passed Standard Level (SL) Mathematics / Statistics to be eligible for NMIMS NPAT.
5. Candidates must mention class 12th aggregate marks of all the subjects they have appeared in the ICSE/CBSE examination during the online registration / re-admission through NMIMS NPAT.
6. For eligibility purposes, the aggregate percentage of all the subjects is considered at the time of admission. If the candidates have their result in percentile, the actual aggregate percentage of all the subjects will be considered.
7. The maximum age limit for being eligible to appear in NMIMS NPAT is 25 years.
8. The candidates who have their result in GPA/CGPA should get the equivalent percentage for the same from the concerned board/university in writing.
9. The candidates who have yet to receive their final mark sheet but are called for admission counseling will be allowed provisional admission on the basis of NMIMS NPAT merit list. Such candidates will have to submit the fees but only the submission of the final mark sheet before the program commences will confirm their admission. For confirming their eligibility, they will have to submit a copy of the AIU notification for the equivalence of their program to the class 12 examination.
10. An AIU certificate of equivalence should be submitted by International school candidates as an equivalent of the class 12th examination for confirming their eligibility for NMIMS NPAT.
11. Candidates who have passed class 12 examination or equivalent from Open or Distance learning school that is recognized only by the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) are subject to fulfillment of program eligibility and the candidates passing class 12 examination or equivalent part-time or through distance learning/ correspondence/externally/open school that are not recognized by NIOS will be ineligible for this test.
12. The candidates who have their results in GPA/CGPA form should get the equivalent percentage for the same from the concerned board/university in writing.

NMIMS NPAT Eligibility Criteria for MBA Pharma Tech (B. Pharm + MBA)
1. Candidates must have passed 12th class or equivalent examination including International Baccalaureate Diploma Science or science vocational with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) or Physics Chemistry and Biology (PCB).
2. Candidates must have studied English as a compulsory subject.
3. An aggregate minimum score of 50% in PCM/PCB is required to be eligible in NMIMS NPAT.
4. Candidates awaiting their class 12th result this year are also eligible to apply.
5. The candidates who have their result in GPA/CGPA should get the equivalent percentage for the same from the concerned board/university in writing.

NMIMS NPAT 2024: Scheme of Exam
1. NMIMS NPAT Examination will be held as an Online Computer Based Test.
2. Questions will be Objective type Multiple choice in nature.
3. There will be a total of 120 objective type questions with 120 marks.

NMIMS NPAT 2024: Admission to the Examination Centres
1. The Examination Centre will be opened two hours before the commencement of the test. Therefore, candidates must ensure that they leave home well in advance considering all facts like traffic, location of the Centre, weather conditions, etc. Candidates are expected to take their seats immediately after the opening of the Examination Hall.
2. The candidate must show, on-demand, the Admit Card for admission in the Examination Hall. A candidate who does not possess a valid Admit Card shall not be allowed to enter the Examination Hall by the Centre Superintendent.
3. A seat with a roll number will be allotted to each candidate. Candidates must find out and occupy their allotted seats. If a candidate is found appearing in the Examination from a seat or room other than the allotted one, the candidature shall be cancelled.
4. During the examination time, the Invigilator will check Admit Card of the candidates to ascertain the identity of each candidate. The Invigilators will also put their own signature in the place provided in the Answer Sheet and on the Attendance Sheet.
5. A candidate who comes late shall not be permitted to enter the Examination Centre under any circumstances.
6. Candidates are not allowed to bring any barred item or any item which could be used for Unfair practices. Possession of any such article with the candidates inside the Centre premises will attract the penalties of unfair practices.

NMIMS NPAT 2024: Mode of Selection
The NMIMS will conduct the counselling process in the offline mode. Candidates need to appear for the counselling process in person at the counselling venue. In order to take part in the counselling procedure, candidates need to verify their documents and submit the counselling fee.
