General Instructions:

1. Eligible candidates have to apply through “Online Application Portal (OAP)” of the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways (https://onlinevacancy.shipmin.nic.in). While applying for the post, the applicant should ensure that he/she fulfills the eligibility and other norms mentioned above. In case, it is detected at any stage of recruitment that a candidate does not fulfill the eligibility norms and /or that he/she has furnished any incorrect/false information or has suppressed any material fact(s), his/her candidature will stand automatically cancelled. If any of the above shortcoming(s) is/are detected even after appointment, his/her services are liable to be terminated without any notice.

2. All qualifications should be recognized and approved in India by the appropriate Statutory Authority/ Competent Authority.

10. Candidate must furnish an undertaking in the attached format (Annexure-I) not to withdraw his/her candidature, if selected. Officials, who withdraws his/her candidature for the Post after his/her selection by the Services Selection Committee, will be liable for debarment from future selection to HOD level posts in all Major Port Authority for a period of two years.
