The syllabus for the preliminary examination is as follows-

For Assistant Exam

For direct recruitment to the post of Assistant, the examination will be conducted in three stages:

For direct recruitment to the post of LDC (Lower Division Clerk), the examination will be conducted in two stages:

1. Preliminary Examination (OMR answer-book-based multiple choice objective test). 

The preliminary exam will be Objective type in nature. The pre-exam will cover 100 questions of 400 marks, which means 1 question will be of 4 marks only and the duration of the pre-exam will be 2 hours.

2. Hindi Shorthand Test and Hindi and English Typewriting (Computer Based) Test and M.S. Office Word Processing (Computer Based) Test.

Hindi Typing Test (Computer Based) will be conducted at 35 words per minute and English Typing Test (Computer Based) will be conducted at 35 words per minute. For direct recruitment to the post-LDC (Lower Division Clerk), 01 hour MS Office word processing test will be taken for 50 marks in Hindi and 50 marks in English for a total of 100 marks.

1. Driving skill and practical (trade test) test (75 marks) and interview (25 marks) will be taken for direct recruitment to the posts of driver, total score of 100 marks.

2. Candidates declared unsuccessful in driving skill and practical (trade test) test will not be eligible for direct recruitment to the posts of driver. No preference will be given for higher educational qualifications.

The first question paper of the main examination is 30% marks in Hindi subject which will be compulsory but it will not be counted for the purpose of the merit list. Step 2: To begin, click on the Registration on the right side. 

Step 3: Then a form will open. Fill up this form with your necessary details. Click on submit after confirming the details.

Step 4:  You will then receive your registration number and password. Save it for future purposes. 

Step 5: After that, you will get a login option below. Login with your registration no., password, and captcha.

Step 6: A form will open in the next step. Complete the form with all the necessary information. It should be noted that you must keep your name and age the same after submitting the form. Thus, be careful to include everything.

For Prativedak (Reporter) Exam Pattern

This will be 3 stage exam:

1st Stage - Prelims Exam 

1. This will be a multiple choice questions exam, The pre-exam will be conducted offline (OMR) mode.

2. The pre-exam will cover 100 questions of 400 marks, which means 1 question will be of 4 marks only.

3. The duration of the Pre exam will be 2 hours

4. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, 1 mark assigned to that question will be deducted as a penalty.

5. The pre-exam will be of a qualifying nature.

6. The medium of pre-examination will be Hindi/English.

2nd Stage - Aashulipi Hindi Exam and Hindi/English Tankan Exam

Only Successful candidates in the 1st Stage Prelims Exam will be qualified for the 2nd Stage Aashulipi Hindi Exam and Hindi/English Tankan Exam. The Aashulipi Hindi Exam will be 5 Minutes Only. The Hindi/English Computer-Based Tankan Exam will be 35WPM, and there will be 1 one-hour computer-based MS Word Exam.

3rd Stage - Interview

Only 1st Stage & 2nd Stage Qualified Candidates will be allowed to sit in the interview.
