LIC AAO PRE: EXAM PATTERN
LIC AAO prelims exam is conducted online at various centres across the nation. The Prelims exam has three sections and the total allotted time is 1 hour. The medium of the exam was in English and Hindi. The time duration for each section is 20 minutes.

LIC AAO PRE: MODE OF EXAMINATION
LIC AAO Examination shall be held as a Computer Based Test. Questions shall be based on Multiple Choice Objective Type.
LIC AAO PRE: MEDIUM OF EXAMINATION
1. Questions from the Quantitative Aptitude & Reasoning Ability section shall be available in both English & Hindi.
2. Questions from English Language section shall be available in English only.
3. Candidates need to choose the language of the question paper they want to attempt in before the commencement of exam.
4. However, candidates will be allowed to change the language of the particular question also.
LIC AAO PRE: MARKING SCHEME
1. One mark will be awarded for each correct answer.
2. There is no negative marking in the LIC AAO exam.
3. English Language test will be of qualifying nature and the marks in English Language will not be counted for ranking.
4. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.
Normalization of Score
The corrected scores obtained by each of the candidates in different sessions (if held) will be normalized using equi-percentile method.
