1. Questions from the Quantitative Aptitude & Reasoning Ability section shall be available in both English & Hindi.
2. Questions from English Language section shall be available in English only.
3. Candidates need to choose the language of the question paper they want to attempt in before the commencement of exam.
4. However, candidates will be allowed to change the language of the particular question also.
LIC AAO PRE: MARKING SCHEME
1. One mark will be awarded for each correct answer.
2. There is no negative marking in the LIC AAO exam.
3. English Language test will be of qualifying nature and the marks in English Language will not be counted for ranking.
4. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.
Normalization of Score
The corrected scores obtained by each of the candidates in different sessions (if held) will be normalized using equi-percentile method.
1. First, the percentile rank of the students for each shift of the exam is calculated using the formula given below -
2. After that, based on the number of available vacancies, a cut-off percentile rank is decided.|
3. Based on this cut-off score, candidates are shortlisted for the next phase of the recruitment process.
