SEBI Grade A Tips for Security Market
In this paper, you will be asked questions based on various concepts of Security Markets like the Indian Financial System, Capital Markets, Securities Law, etc.
1. You need to refer to the standard books which will provide all the relevant information.
2. You can also refer to the SEBI’s list of references and SEBI’s official handbooks to understand the concepts.
3. Refer to sample papers and previous year papers which will give you an idea about the questions asked in this section.
4. Take mock tests and improve your performance
SEBI Grade A Tips for Economic & Social Issues and Finacial Management
1. In Economic and Social Issues, you don’t have to solve problems like Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning papers. The questions here basically are knowledge-based.
2. Once you are well equipped with adequate knowledge, you can answer the questions faster and save time for other sections.
3. In Finacial Management you need to have a very good conceptual knowledge of the subject.
4. Refer to previous year papers to understand the type of questions asked
5. Make a habit of taking notes while studying.
6. Refer to books and online study material to learn the selected important topics within the short time available.
2 WEEKS STUDY PLAN
Only 2 weeks are left for the SEBI Grade A Exam, and candidates must buckle up and follow the tips and tricks to maximize their time of preparation:
1. Start revising: As the majority of the preparation work must been completed, candidates must concentrate solely on revising topics that have been completed. This includes all topics that are difficult, lengthy, easy, or short.
2. Avoid new topics: Candidates should not focus on any new topics. Taking on anything new at this time will only confuse the candidate’s brain and may even result in forgetting previously completed topics.
3. Identifying strengths and weaknesses: Candidates will gain an understanding of topics that are in their strengths and topics that are difficult to grasp while revising. Candidates must concentrate on their weaker sections and work hard to improve them.
4. Solving question papers: Model question papers and previous year’s question papers serve as a sneak peak of the upcoming exam. Hence, resolving these problems will make candidates feel more at ease about what lies ahead. It will also provide them with a clear understanding of the exam pattern and the level of difficulty of the questions.
5. Keep calm: Candidates must focus on calming themselves rather than stressing about “not completed stuff” during the final two weeks. Just keep revising while taking breaks.
