Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Released SSC CHSL Notification 2024 on 08 April 2024, with the Aim of filling 3,712 vacancies. Applications started on 08 April 2024 and the last date for Online Application was 07 May 2024. After the completion of the application process, the Commission Successfully Conducted the SSC CHSL Tier-I Exam on 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 8th, 9th, 10th & 11th July 2024. After Exam, Commission has declared the Result of SSC CHSL Tier-I Exam on 06 September 2024. Now Commission Will conduct the SSC CHSL Tier-II Exam on 18 November 2024.

1. Tier- II will be conducted in two sessions - Session- I & Session- II, on same day. Session- I will include conducting of Section- I, Section- II and Module- I of Section- III. Session- II will include conducting of Module- II of Section- III.
2. It will be mandatory for the candidates to qualify all the sections of Tier- II.
Part A - Skill Test for the post of DEO/ DEO Grade 'A’:
Data Entry Speed of 8,000 (Eight Thousand) Key Depressions per hour on the Computer’ will be adjudged on the basis of the correct entry of words / key depressions as per the given passage.
Part B - Typing Test for other posts i.e. LDC/ JSA:
Candidates opting for English medium should have a typing speed of 35 words per minute (w.p.m.) and those opting for Hindi medium should have typing speed of 30 words per minute (w.p.m.). 35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m. correspond to about 10500 key depressions per hour and about 9000 key depressions per hour respectively.
Scheme Of Examination:
1. Tier- II Examination will be held as a Objective-type computer-based Examination.
2. The Tier- II will be held in two sessions - Session- I & Session- II, on the same day. Session- I will include conducting Section- I, Section- II and Module- I of Section- III. Session- II will include conducting Module- II of Section- III.
3. It will be mandatory for the candidates to qualify for all Tier- II sections.
4. Tier- II will consist of Objective Type Questions, except for Module- II of Section- III. The questions will be set in English and Hindi except for Module- II (i.e. English Language and Comprehension module) in Section- II.
5. There will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer in Section- I, Section- II and Module- I of Section- III. Candidates are, therefore, advised to keep this in mind while answering the questions.
6. Module- I of Section- III i.e. Computer Knowledge Test is mandatory but qualifying in nature.
7. Skill Test / Typing Test will be of qualifying nature.
8. Tier- II Examination will be held as a Objective-type computer-based examination.

Part A - Skill Test for the post of DEO/ DEO Grade 'A’:
Data Entry Speed of 8,000 (Eight Thousand) Key Depressions per hour on the Computer’ will be adjudged on the basis of the correct entry of words / key depressions as per the given passage.
Part B - Typing Test for other posts i.e. LDC/ JSA:
Candidates opting for English medium should have a typing speed of 35 words per minute (w.p.m.) and those opting for Hindi medium should have typing speed of 30 words per minute (w.p.m.). 35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m. correspond to about 10500 key depressions per hour and about 9000 key depressions per hour respectively.
Scheme Of Examination:
1. Tier- II Examination will be held as a Objective-type computer-based Examination.
2. The Tier- II will be held in two sessions - Session- I & Session- II, on the same day. Session- I will include conducting Section- I, Section- II and Module- I of Section- III. Session- II will include conducting Module- II of Section- III.
3. It will be mandatory for the candidates to qualify for all Tier- II sections.
4. Tier- II will consist of Objective Type Questions, except for Module- II of Section- III. The questions will be set in English and Hindi except for Module- II (i.e. English Language and Comprehension module) in Section- II.
5. There will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer in Section- I, Section- II and Module- I of Section- III. Candidates are, therefore, advised to keep this in mind while answering the questions.
6. Module- I of Section- III i.e. Computer Knowledge Test is mandatory but qualifying in nature.
7. Skill Test / Typing Test will be of qualifying nature.
8. Tier- II Examination will be held as a Objective-type computer-based examination.

Candidates who have applied for the exam can follow the steps given below to download the SSC CHSL Admit card:
1. Visit the official website of SSC.
2. Click on the SSC CHSL Admit Card for your region.
3. Enter your registration number / password followed by your date of birth in the required field.
4. The page redirects you to the SSC CHSL Admit card page.
5. Download the SSC CHSL admit card.
6. Print the downloaded SSC CHSL admit card.
RESULT:
Candidates can follow the below-mentioned step-by-step procedure.
1. Visit official website of SSC.
2. Click on the 'Result' tab on the top-right corner.
3. Click on the result link against the SSC CHSL result List 1/ 2/ 3.
4. You will be directed to a PDF.
5. Check your name and roll number in that PDF.
6. Click on submit.
7. Enter your roll number and password.
8. Click on Login.
9. Download and save it for future reference.
SELECTION PROCESS:
Minimum qualifying marks in Tier-I, Section-I, Section-II & Module-I of Section- III of Tier-II Examination are as follows:
UR: 30%
OBC/ EWS: 25%
All other categories: 20%
1. Candidates will be shortlisted for Tier-II Examination on the basis of their performance in the Tier-I Examination. Normalized scores of candidates will be used to determine merit and for final selection.
2. There may be separate category-wise cut-offs in Tier-I and subsequent Tiers for different posts i.e. (i) DEO/ DEO Grade 'A' and (ii) LDC/ JSA.
3. Tier-II Examination will be conducted for all the candidates qualified in Tier-I In Tier- II, all the candidates will be required to appear in all three sections. In Tier- II, it will be mandatory for the candidates to qualify for all the sections.
4. Based on the aggregate performance in Section-I and Section- II of the Tier-II Examination, candidates will be shortlisted for evaluation in Section- III of the Tier-II Examination. The candidates who are not qualified in Section-I + Section-II will not be eligible for evaluation of Section-III and they will not be considered for further selection process.
5. Section- III of Tier-II is qualifying in nature, in other words both modules i.e. Computer Knowledge Test and Skill Test / Typing Test are qualifying in nature. Skill Test for DEOs is mandatory for all qualified candidates. Typing Test for posts other than DEOs is mandatory for all candidates except those who are exempted from appearing in the Typing Test.
6. Preference for various posts and departments will be taken from the candidates through Online Option Form on the website of the Commission before the declaration of the final result. A candidate will not be considered for a Post and Ministry / Department / Organization, if he has not indicated his preference for it. Options once submitted shall be treated as final and will not be changed subsequently under any circumstances. Therefore, candidates must be careful in the exercise of such options.
7. Candidates, who do not submit their post preference(s) on the website of the Commission within the stipulated time, will not be considered for any post in the Final Result. Such candidates shall not be provided with another opportunity to exercise preference for posts and will be solely responsible for the same. Any grievance received in this regard in any form like Post, Fax, Email, by hand, etc. shall not be entertained by the Commission and will be summarily rejected.
8. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of the overall performance of candidates in the Tier-II Examination only. Merit List will be prepared on the basis of aggregate marks scored in Section-I & Section-II of Tier-II examination only subject to qualifying Section-III (both modules) of Tier-II as per the qualifying standards fixed by the Commission.
9. Final selection of candidates, in each category, will be made on the basis of ‘overall performance in Tier-II Examination’ and ‘preference of posts’ exercised by them. Once the candidate has been given his first available preference, as per his merit, he will not be considered for any other option.
10. The final allotment of posts is made on the basis of merit-cum-preferences of Posts / Departments given by the candidates and once a post is allotted, no change of posts will be made by the Commission due to non-fulfillment of any post-specific requirements of physical / medical / educational standards. In other words, for example, if a candidate has given higher preference for a post and is selected for that post, in that case if he fails to meet the medical / physical / educational standards for that post, his candidature will be rejected and he will not be considered for any other preferences and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained by the Commission.
11. The result will be declared only once by the Commission and no further nomination of candidates would be made in the event of candidates not joining subsequent to the conduct of Document Verification by User Departments. In such cases, the Departments may take further action regarding carrying forward of vacancies in accordance with the extant rules.
12. If a candidate is finally selected and does not receive any correspondence from the Commission or the User Department concerned within a period of one year from the declaration of the final result, he must communicate immediately thereafter with the User Department concerned.
